Why — In Chinese folklore, an invisible Red Thread connects those destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but never break. This thread represents the creative contributors and teams intrinsic to the creation of the Red Thread Journal, it is also symbolic of the themes and social topics that run through each issue.
